Fall 2007 – Scapino

Scapino is a fast-paced, slapstick comedy inspired by the classic Italian commedia dell’arte. Centered around the clever and mischievous servant Scapino, the play follows his outrageous schemes to help two young men win the hearts of the women they love—despite the objections of their stubborn fathers. With wild disguises, rapid-fire dialogue, and over-the-top physical comedy, Scapino delivers an energetic and entertaining romp that celebrates wit, love, and the chaos of deception.
